A normal day at work for most people entails the same job duties, the same people and the same familiar work place. But for a growing number of foreclosure inspectors the job is changing and quickly.

As the country enters this housing slump more and more families are removed from their homes. The inspector’s job is to enter the property for the new owners and ascertain the condition. Often the property has been vacant for a period of time.

Mold develops from unchecked leaks. Water damage from vandalism is not unusual. The inspector files the condition report with the new owner and often arrange too have the damage repaired. Often this process is very involved; items left, property discarded and general clean-up are all apart of this process.
